Love the omakase here! And for only $98! That's a great price! You get 12 pieces of sushi and comes in different varieties! My favorite is the uni and ikura as well as the a5 wagyu beef! Love them all! This is a nice way to treat yourself for a special day! F0ll0w for me foodie adventure IG@nyc_food1e
A few months ago we bought a Groupon for Sushi Dojo for a mini omakase meal and it was so outstanding we decided to come back for my birthday this weekend for the 15 piece omakase here at the sushi bar. We had so much food we could barely finish the meal. This honestly is the best sushi I have had in NYC for the "30 some" years I have lived here. They import their sushi from Japan I believe and the omakase prices are probably the best in the city too. I highly recommend Sushi Dojo at the cost of having a hard time booking a seat the next time I want to go 😉
I went to Sushi Dojo during restaurant week last year. They had an omakase special that was very reasonable. Everything was super tasty and the nigiri pieces were unique. No complaints.
Their omakase is the best quality for value in NYC. I've been to many omakase restaurants, but never had such a variety of fish for $98. Carlos is the excellent host. He took great care of us. Freshness of fish topped with excellent service will make me keep coming back
Last night's omakase dinner at Sushi Dojo was unforgettable experience for me. We tried their new 12 premium pieces Japanese course for $98 and it was spot on. Smoked isaki, kinmedai, aji and A5 wagyu beef with foie gras were spectacular to name a few. Our chef Tony was very engaging and waiter Carlos was very attending with the service. We will definitely be back.
The omakase here is always great--we always come back!! Each piece takes unique and fresh. It is a great value as well and very satisfying.
Favorite sushi in NYC! Unreal quality every single time. Omakase is always the best, such a fun, chill spot.
Kind of surprised with the mixed reviews for this spot. It's a great spot and cheap option for omakase! I'd suggest going with the counter seating and doing omakase but they also have tables as well. This was probably the most unique array of fish I've gotten to try and I felt 100% full afterwards. The wait staff is next level, they're so accommodative and know which alcohols to pair with the meal. I will definitely be back!
